The forum involved about 200 businessmen in agriculture, tourism, trade, pharmacology, industry, transport, construction and banking sector.
The Azerbaijani-Japanese business forum was held in Tokyo within the framework of the sixth session of the Azerbaijani-Japanese intergovernmental economic commission on May 17.
According to a statement in the ministry of economic development, the forum was organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation under support of the Economic Development Ministry.
The forum involved about 200 businessmen in agriculture, tourism, trade, pharmacology, industry, transport, construction and banking sector.
Wide information about the economic development of Azerbaijan, prospects of development of alternative energy sources, agricultural production and processing industry, prospects of tourism development.
The commission is co-chairs by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov from the Azerbaijani side and ITOCHU corporation Akiro Yokota with the Japanese president.
