All foreign citizens who observed the 'elections' in Nagorno Karabakh were declared personas non grata in Azerbaijan.
All foreign observers including Russian parliamentarians who took part in the monitoring of 'parliamentary elections' in Karabakh on May 23 were declared personas non grata in Azerbaijan, said spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov.
'Mr.Gryzlov seems to have been misinformed about the declaration of only Russian deputies observing the so-called 'parliamentary elections' in Karabakh as personas non grata in Azerbaijan', said Polukhov.
At a news conference in Yerevan, State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov said that he is negative on the decision of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan to declare five Russian deputies personas non grata. He considers that such a decision was adopted only on the Russian deputies.
Polukhov said the list of all foreign citizens who visited the occupied Azerbaijani lands has been completed.
"All of them have been declared personas non grata in Azerbaijan. There are the citizens of not only Russia but also other countries among them", the spokesman said.
